JOB SUMMARY:
The Inventory Control Technician is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper material flow, and supporting operational efficiency through effective inventory management practices. This role plays a critical part in minimizing discrepancies, optimizing stock levels, and supporting production and procurement activities.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Diploma or certification in supply chain, logistics, or a related field (preferred)

2–5 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or manufacturing environment
QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Proficiency with ERP systems (ROSS)

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Strong organizational and time management skills

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP or inventory management system.
-
Maintain accurate inventory records on parts and consumable.
-
Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventory counts in both warehouses.

Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances
-
Ensure proper inventory adjustments are documented and approved
-
Monitor and control material movements (receipts, transfers, consumption, and shipments).

Receive material in Ross

Responsible for the transfer between warehouses.

Ensure all inventory transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner

Validate proper labeling, identification, and traceability of materials
-
Make sure all bundles are labeled and well identified,
-
Perform validation of incoming receipts against purchase orders and packing slips (quantity, condition, and specifications)

Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to received goods in coordination with procurement and suppliers.

Support receiving and shipping processes as needed

Identifyopportunities to improve inventory accuracy and warehouse processes

Participateincontinuousimprovementinitiatives (e.g., 5S, Lean practices)

Assistin developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Generate inventory reports and analyze stock levels, usage trends, and discrepancies

Supportforecastingandreplenishmentactivities

Communicate inventory issues and risks to management

Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards

Maintain clean and organized storage areas (5S)

Support audits and provide required documentation
