Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, bar area, and dining spaces to uphold health standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and guest satisfaction
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple tables efficiently while providing exceptional service
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or food service environments with strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and payment processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
- Strong math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and basic calculations
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members
- Hospitality mindset with a genuine desire to create positive guest experiences
- Basic cashiering skills combined with attention to detail in serving and serving alcohol responsibly
