Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide expert physical therapy services to patients across various settings, including hospitals and outpatient clinics. This role requires a strong understanding of patient care, medical terminology, and specialized skills in acute care and pediatrics. The Physiotherapist will play a vital role in helping patients recover mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life through personalized treatment plans.
Duties
- Assess patients’ physical conditions through comprehensive evaluations and develop tailored treatment programs
- Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to promote healing and mobility
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal recovery outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and health maintenance strategies
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and clinical assessments in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy techniques and participate in ongoing professional development
Requirements
- Valid license or certification as a Physiotherapist in the relevant jurisdiction
- Prior hospital experience preferred, especially in acute care settings
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures related to physical therapy
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Strong communication skills for educating patients and collaborating with colleagues
- Commitment to maintaining professional standards and ongoing learning in physiotherapy practices
Pay: $29.64-$60.58 per hour
