Kahlon Farms Ltd. is looking for forklift drivers who are willing to work in a fast-paced environment and willing to work long hours.
Skills:
- Previous work experience is an asset
- Has a forklift driver license
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, thinking and reacting quickly, and making fast yet accurate decisions
- Ability to communicate and work well with others as part of a team, demonstrating politeness, respect, and courtesy in communication and daily interactions
Responsibilities:
- Loads and unloads trucks with product
- Removes fruit from the receiving area and brings it into the plant for processing
- Handle all finished product coming from production
- Unload product and materials off trailers and put incoming shipments away, storing all product in designated locations
- Load trailers with flats, lugs, and other materials for farmer/customer
- Move full pallets into finished goods area of warehouse when stackers need assistance
- Ensure all pallets are labelled properly
- Control flow of product from the production line
- Checking loads are secure
- Maintain a clean and secure environment
- Ensure pre-trip inspections and daily records are completed
- Advice supervisors of any concerns, discrepancies with any product coming from production and in the ungraded farm product area
- Assist co-workers where and when required
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Physical Demands and Abilities:
- Be able to work long hours
- Ability to work in varying temperatures
- Ability to comfortably lift 50 lbs repetitively

Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour

- forkilfting: 1 year (preferred)
