Delivery Driver & Warehouse Associate

Position Summary
The Delivery Driver & Warehouse Associate is responsible for safely delivering customer orders while assisting with warehouse operations, including order picking, loading, inventory organization, and general warehouse duties. This role requires someone who is dependable, organized, physically capable, and committed to providing excellent customer service.
Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery
- Safely operate a company delivery van
- Deliver customer orders throughout Calgary and Edmonton
- Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures when required.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service.
- Report delivery issues, shortages, or damaged products promptly.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures.
Warehouse Operations
- Accurately pick customer orders from dry, refrigerated, and freezer storage.
- Verify product quantities and quality before loading.
- Load the delivery vehicle efficiently according to the delivery route.
- Unload incoming shipments and organize inventory.
- Rotate inventory using First In, First Out (FIFO) practices.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse, cooler, and freezer.
General Duties
- Work closely with warehouse and office staff to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
- Report inventory discrepancies or damaged products.
- Assist with warehouse cleanup and organization at the end of each day.
- Perform additional warehouse and operational duties as assigned.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
QualificationsRequired
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Ability to speak Punjabi and English to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 40 lbs.
- Comfortable working in freezer and refrigerated environments.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Preferred
- Previous delivery driving experience.
- Warehouse or food distribution experience.
- Experience operating pallet jacks or warehouse equipment.
- Forklift certification is an asset.
