Resident Physiotherapist
Permanent FULL TIME
Wage rate: $41.85 - $50.57 (commensurate with experience)
The primary goal of the Resident Physiotherapist is to ensure our patients are receiving high quality, person-centered care that aligns with our values of Dignity, Service, Excellence and Integrity. Our Resident Physiotherapist will work within an interprofessional team setting with an in-house mentor to define our patients’ individual goals and create realistic plans to achieve them through slow-paced rehabilitation and strengthening. They develop and implement individualized care programs that address functional decline and support a discharge back to the community. The Resident Physiotherapist will work closely with the Rehabilitation Assistants and other members of the care team in providing care to a predominately geriatric population.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- Completed the written component of the Physiotherapy Competency Exam
- Degree in physiotherapy/ physical therapy
- Experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation and leadership preferred
- COVID-19 Vaccination (2 Doses) mandatory to work in our facility
