Key Requirements
- Previous experience in a full-service restaurant, catering facility is considered an asset
- Function independently and as part of a team
- Possess basic food handling and preparation knowledge
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet time constraints
- Available and willing to work with a flexible schedule including evening and weekends
- Energetic and Positive
Key Accountabilities:
- Daily kitchen sheets and printing of all related labels to deliver to kitchen lead for completion
- Creating weekly order labels and printing for the kitchen.
- Printing all catering orders/menus along with number of participants, dietary restrictions, time the order needs to leave the kitchen and delivery time and passing along to kitchen lead to post.
- Following up on all customer/client inquiries in consult with managers as needed
- Placing orders for office supplies and kitchen supplies
- Collaborating with kitchen lead on creation of weekly schedule to meet the needs of kitchen functions. Posting the schedule and sending a copy to all staff in a timely manner
- Completion of kitchen inventory (monthly, quarterly whatever you see fit
- Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and organized.
- High level of independent functioning
- Performing duties as assigned by kitchen lead
- Overview of all task / duties related to daily business in order to be able to jump into any role as needed
- Primarily manage the cooking and portioning of retail orders weekly under the supervision of the kitchen lead
- Take a lead in the preparation of weekly frozen orders
- Follow company policies and procedures

- Food Handler Certification
- Experience in a fast-paced kitchen setting is considered an asset.
