Job Summary
Our maintenance team is looking for a skilled individual to undertake a wide range of general maintenance at our client’s properties. The successful candidate will have a solid complement of standard work tools and a wide range of basic handyman skills including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, roofing, carpentry and excellent problem-solving skills.
Primary Responsibilities
General plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs
Enterphone updates and configuration
Roofing and gutter repairs
Vandalism cleanup
After hours on-call (shared on a rotating basis)
Emergency response for plumbing, fire, security, etc.
Other duties as assigned
Education
Apprenticeship in general contracting work is an asset
Work Experience
Proven expertise in general maintenance through apprenticeships and/or work experience (two years +)
Knowledge and Skills
General computer skills
Construction
Problem solving
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Able to lift, push, pull and move a minimum of 50 pounds
Must have a valid driver’s license
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bondable
Work Environment
Based of Kamloops BC the majority of the work will be in the Kamloops and surrounding area. Driving is required to travel between properties.

Starting Wage: $28-32/hour, depending on experience
