Awning installer needed.
Seasonal work
Honest, hard working, energetic, self-starter.
Must have a valid G drivers license with a clean abstract
Must have own vehicle to get to shop
Must be physically fit with neat appearance and able to lift approximately 50-100Ibs
Must have CSA safety boots and black work pants/shorts.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
Install exterior prefabricated awning products.
Read drawings and specifications to determine work requirements. Repair and service exterior pre fabricated products.
Communication with customers. Determine layout and installation procedures, Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies.
Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment.
Utilize hand and power tools
Climb and work off of step ladders and extension ladders.
Willingness to learn new skills and apply skills. Willingness to work in a team environment.
Experience in construction: Framing, building layouts, and anchoring fasteners an asset.
Experience in welding/manufacturing an asset.
Working Monday-Friday, 30-40 hour weeks.
