If you enjoy working in a busy kitchen, take pride in your food, and like finishing your day before dinner service even begins, we’d like to meet you.
What a Bagel is one of Toronto’s busiest breakfast and lunch restaurants. We serve high volumes without compromising quality, and we’re looking for a dependable line cook who can keep pace, stay organized, and work well with the team.
This is a daytime position with no late nights. We value people who show up on time, care about consistency, and take ownership of their station.
Schedule
- Wednesday through Sunday
- Start at 6:30 AM
- Latest shift ends by 5:00 PM
- Full-time
Compensation
- Starting at $20/hour
- $21/hour after successful training
- Additional wage increase after 3 months based on performance
What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare breakfast and lunch menu items with speed and consistency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked station
- Follow recipes and customer modifications accurately
- Work closely with the kitchen team during busy service
- Uphold high standards for food quality, presentation, and food safety

- Has previous line cook or kitchen experience
- Stays calm and focused during busy rushes
- Takes pride in clean, organized work
- Is reliable, punctual, and ready to contribute every shift
- Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively
