Duties
- Consult with clients to understand their hair styling preferences and recommend suitable styles and treatments
- Perform various hair services including cuts, color, highlights, blowouts, and special occasion styling
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools in accordance with health regulations
- Upsell retail products to clients to enhance their salon experience and meet sales goals
- Provide exceptional customer service by creating a friendly, professional environment that encourages repeat business
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products through ongoing education and training
Experience
- Previous experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures in a salon setting
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining excellent customer service
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is a plus but not mandatory
