Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality finish carpentry work that enhances the aesthetic and functional aspects of residential, commercial, or restoration projects. Your expertise will help transform raw structures into beautifully finished spaces, ensuring precision, durability, and craftsmanship at every stage. Duties
- Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute finish carpentry tasks.
- Install cabinets, trim, moldings, doors, windows, and other woodwork with precision and care.
- Perform restoration work by repairing or replacing damaged woodwork and fixtures to restore original beauty and integrity.
- Handle concrete forming and rebar installation for foundational or structural elements when required.
- Use hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and masonry equipment safely and efficiently to complete tasks.
- Apply construction painting, caulking, siding, roofing, and flooring installation techniques to achieve polished results.
- Collaborate with team members on plumbing, electrical work, or HVAC components as needed for integrated project completion.
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical schematics for accurate execution of projects.
- Extensive experience with woodworking, cabinetry installation, tile laying, flooring installation, and siding work.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and material calculations for job planning.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and heavy lifting equipment safely.
- Familiarity with masonry techniques including concrete forming and rebar installation.
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques along with caulking and finishing touches for a seamless look.
- Experience in restoration projects requiring meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems for coordination with other tradespeople.
