Responsibilities:
What your days look like as a Embedded Systems Technician :
- Supports the implementation of various projects involving new embedded technologies, and works as part of a multidisciplinary team (operations, IT, maintenance);

Ensures installation complies with specifications by carrying out validations with Termont personnel and suppliers;

Supports users with advanced system issues;
-
Determine and follow up on the application of corrective measures related to embedded systems in collaboration with the maintenance department;

Ensures documentation of maintenance and inspection procedures for new on-board technologies, and that these are shared with all stakeholders;

Actively participates in the development of the training program and acts as a trainer for the teams to develop their autonomy;

Coordinate support requests and supplier interventions;
-
Perform any other related tasks that may provide technical support;
-
Parameterize applications supplied with systems (e.g. tag numbers, etc.).
Qualifications:
To succeed as a Embedded Systems Technician you must have:
- Degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Industrial Computing, or a related field;

Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the maritime sector;

Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and technical documents;

Proficiency in designing data collection systems;
-
Technical knowledge in electronics and electricity;
-
Excellent communication skills, both with technical staff and suppliers;

Bilingual (French and English), both spoken and written;
-
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
