Job Summary
We are actively seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team. Our ideal candidate has a strong Quality background with proven experience. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to our team.
YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:
- Designs, implements, maintains, and improves quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products
- Designs and improves methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products
- Performs analysis and preparation of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or improvements to quality standards and procedures when necessary
- Provides technical review of documents, drawings, assembly instructions, and project plans
- Compares defects against standards and recommends dispositions, verifies implementation of rework
- Collects, organizes and analyzes project data, generates and/or reviews metrics
- Performs audits, assigns corrective actions, and verifies implementations internally and with external supplies
- Participates in project reviews and meetings including technical design reviews, technical peer reviews, material review boards, change control boards, failure review boards
- Participates in continuous improvement and problem-solving activities within projects
- Reviews documents/Drawings/Instructions for conformance to requirements
- May provide leadership and/or direction to lower-level employees
- Contact with project leaders and other professionals within Engineering and Operations departments, and with project teams across the company
- Frequent contact with external customers
- Provides resolution to a diverse range of complex problems
- Works as an individual technical contributor on one or more projects
- Participates as an active member of the project team
- Independently determines approach to solutions
YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering
- Proficient knowledge of domain (hardware, software, systems, logistics, manufacturing) methodologies, tools, techniques, and standards
- Proficient knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA QAR, AS9100
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Proficient written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to think creatively
- Ability to multi-task
- Contributes to the achievement of business objectives
- Proficient skill in communicating issues, impacts, and corrective actions
- Electronics and/or RF manufacturing and testing experience
- Medical device manufacturing experience
Security
- Must meet all CGP and ITAR requirements.
