Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator (RR/Walkie) with a minimum of 1 year experience to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling the movement, storage, and organization of goods within the warehouse environment using specialized equipment such as reach trucks and walkie stackers. Your expertise will ensure smooth warehouse operations, accurate order fulfillment, and safe handling of materials. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Duties
- Operate forklift equipment, including reach trucks and walkie stackers, to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse
- Perform order picking with precision using order picker equipment to fulfill customer orders accurately
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update stock records in real-time
- Conduct routine inspections of forklift machinery to ensure safety standards are met and perform basic maintenance as needed
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injuries and damage
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock locations and maintaining a clean workspace
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and communicate repairs needed to maintenance teams
- Handle clamp truck operations for specific bulk or palletized loads, ensuring secure handling
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with company policies
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts, including reach trucks and walkie stackers, within a warehouse setting
- Have external forklift license from certified Agencies.
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and inventory management systems
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for order picking and inventory counts
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively
- Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safety procedures in a logistics environment
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing
- Strong attention to detail combined with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
