Testing Senior Manager

The goal is to support our clients' efforts to make their business units more effective and efficient and, where required, provide services in connection with the development and implementation of technology solutions.

Your key responsibilities
Here, you’ll be defining and implementing the testing strategy for clients and the practice. This includes building and implementing extendable testing frameworks across multiple solutions and clients. You will be accountable for testing project delivery, recruiting, solution development, and IP development in an any-shore model.

To qualify for the role, you must have
15+ years of experience in traditional and non-traditional testing with a minimum of 5 years experience as a Sr. Testing Manager
Experience building testing teams and centres of excellence and a proven history of managing complex testing projects
Experience creating the quality assurance and testing strategies and methodologies and ensures they adhere to organizational goals and industry trends and developments
Contributes to the establishment of leading practices in quality assurance systems
Leads the design of training programs to improve software / systems / solution / product design based on current quality testing results
Oversees the development of quality assurance guidelines, policies, procedures and benchmarks
Develops metrics for evaluating the effectiveness of testing methods
Establishes leading practice testing methods based on cost-benefit analyses, own expertise and emerging trends and developments in testing methods
Drives the use of new and emerging methodologies, testing tools and methods that can be used to optimize program success
Creates test automation and performance test strategy and direction including tool selection, framework design and execution
Resolves large-scale automated and performance testing concerns, including managing test data, running tests and tracking results
Establishes test automation standards and leading practices based on benchmarking, expertise and emerging trends and developments in test automation
Directs and leads the governance and consistency of automated testing; improves test structuring
Exhibits passion, perseverance and a willingness to strengthen/acquire new knowledge and capabilities to keep up with the evolving changes; this may include spending personal time upskilling and developing impactful solutions to complex problems
Shares ideas and solutions that meet the client's unique needs to achieve desired output
A bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering or similar discipline; supported by experience in a similar technical environment
Experience in leading a medium to large size team of 10 to 20 cross-functional resources
A customer-focused approach to work, and the ability to translate often-complex requirements into decisive digital platform strategies
The confidence to build lasting relationships and influence senior colleagues and clients from a wide range of backgrounds
A flair for identifying and capitalizing on new revenue streams
