Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to provide exceptional care and assistance to individuals in need of support. This role involves working closely with the client in a well timed and detailed management.
Responsibilities and
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health status
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with the client
- Assist with transfers, ambulation, and positioning to prevent falls or injury
Skills
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments is preferred
- Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach toward individuals with disabilities
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with the client.
- Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation efficiently
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, on weekends and statutory holidays.
- Valid certification or training in caregiving or personal support work is advantageous
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
