Seeking an Electrical Controls Technician to join our friendly and skilled team in the controls & automation field.

Responsibility/Duties:
· Design 120v-600v branch circuits systems using variations of autoCAD
· Design control systems using variations of autoCAD
· Design safety systems using variations of autoCAD
· Build small junction boxes and HMI enclosures
· Build medium to large control panels for automation
· New automation machine wiring such as sensors, motors, lights and valves
· Troubleshoot and debug new and existing machines
· Safety upgrades such as wiring safety PLCs, safety relays and safety switches
· Provide IO tests and electrical startup support for onsite programmer
Candidate
Qualifications:
· At least 2 years of electrical experience in the manufacturing & automation field preferred
· Familiar with standard electrical design structures for automation
· CAD experience preferred
· Proficient with hand and power tools
· Understands the concepts of single phase vs three phase systems
· Familiarity with PLCs and programming software considered an asset
Education:
· Engineering or technologist diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Active 309A Apprentice or Journeyperson status considered an asset
