Position Information:
- Graduate of an accredited educational program in Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography
- Current registration in good standing with CMRITO
- Current registration as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with ARDMS AND/OR current registration as a Canadian Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CRCS) with Sonography Canada
- Current BCLS
- Adult cardiac ultrasound experience with contrast use is an asset
- Excellent knowledge of the cardiac anatomy, physiology and electrocardiography
- Demonstrated excellence in providing patient focused care
- Ability to work independently and in an interdisciplinary team environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective problem-solving skills and critical thinking
- Professional, cooperative, mature, reliable and responsible
- Ability to be flexible as urgent situations arise
- Experience with GE Vivid equipment, imaging software and distribution networks such are Cerner and PACS are an asset
- Certification in IV skills with knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices are an asset
- Commitment to ongoing professional education and improvement
Salary Range: $37.94 - $53.32
