Position: Concrete Installer Lead Hand, Full-time, Permanent

We are currently experiencing extensive growth, and are looking for an experienced Lead Hand to help take our team to the next level.
Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Requires experience with curbing work, concrete formwork, concrete placing, finishing (footings, slabs, walls) and rebar,
- Valid Class 5 License and Clean Driver’s Abstract,
- Reliable transportation to get to and from work (Crew Lead will be able to drive a company vehicle after they have proven to be the right candidate)
- Must be flexible with work hours as some evening and weekend work is optional
- walking, bending, and/or crouching frequently throughout the day,
- sufficient stamina and flexibility of upper arms/shoulders for steady work pace through the entire shift (five to six days per week)
- able to work safety equipment, including hearing protection, steel-toed work shoes, utility gloves, reflective vest and safety glasses
- carrying and/or lifting materials up to 75 lbs
- Excellent communication skills (listening, speaking and writing); ability to deal with strong personalities, with a pleasant personality and a sense of humour, yet holding firm boundaries,
- Excellent organizational skills (prioritizing, time management, record keeping, follow up etc),
- Demonstrated problem solving and sound judgment; Innovative and resourceful,
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail,
- Ability to embrace new technologies and systems, yet capable of following existing procedures,
- Results driven, self-motivated and sets high performance standards.
ADDITIONAL ASSETS WE ARE SEEKING IN A CANDIDATE ** NOT REQUIRED**
- Occupational First Aid Certification
- Forklift Experience; Valid Forklift Operator’s Certificate; Skid-Steer Experience
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret drawings, documents and blueprints
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $38.00 - $48.00 per hour
Compensation based on Experience
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
