Overview
We are seeking a skilled Aluminum Railing Welder to join our manufacturing team. This role involves fabricating and welding aluminum railings with precision and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various welding techniques, contributing to high-quality product assembly in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication of aluminum railing components
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum materials, ensuring strong, clean welds that meet quality standards
- Operate plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and power tools for precise cutting and shaping of metal parts
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to verify dimensions and tolerances during fabrication
- Rig and position materials using cranes or forklifts as needed for assembly or welding tasks
- Assist with machining, assembly, and installation of railing systems according to specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and proper equipment handling procedures
- Read schematics and technical instructions to ensure proper assembly and welding processes are followed
Requirements
- Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding, particularly with aluminum materials
- Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing, machining, and construction processes
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with rigging, crane operation, forklift handling, and the use of hand tools and power tools
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes
- Experience with plasma cutting, press brake machines, ductwork, or related manufacturing equipment is a plus
- Construction or manufacturing experience preferred; knowledge of assembly techniques beneficial
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality welds and finished products
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while adhering to safety guidelines
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
