Position Summary
The Licensed Automotive Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of vehicles. The ideal candidate is a skilled professional with strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on domestic and import vehicles.
- Complete brake, suspension, steering, engine, transmission, and exhaust system repairs.
- Conduct vehicle safety inspections and ensure compliance with Ontario regulations.
- Perform preventative maintenance services including oil changes, tire services, and fluid replacements.
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly to service advisors and customers.
- Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and professional.
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Automotive Service Technician License (310S).
- Minimum 5 years of automotive repair experience preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience using computerized diagnostic equipment.
- Valid G Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and quality workmanship.

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
Experience:
- Automotive diagnostics: 5 years (preferred)
- Automotive repair: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- 310s (preferred)
- 310T (preferred)
- EV Certification (preferred)
