Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Marine and PowerSport Technician to join our team and use their knowledge to build a future with us. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and hands-on experience with marine and PowerSports systems. As a Marine Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of marine vessels and equipment. This role requires a keen attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to work alongside other technicians throughout the day.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on marine and powersport engines, Kioti tractors, electrical systems, and other mechanical components.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and installations.
- Diagnose issues with marine, compact tractors and powersport equipment using appropriate testing methods and tools.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with service advisor regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Technician or similar role in the compact tractor/marine industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to marine or powersport systems and equipment.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure.
- A valid driver's license may be required for transportation purposes.
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
