Role Overview
The PSW/Caregiver will provide in-home support to clients based on individualized care plans. This is a casual position with hours offered based on client needs and availability in the Scarborough region.
Shifts may vary and are not guaranteed, particularly in the early stages. As the client base grows, there may be opportunities for more consistent hours.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide personal care (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing)
· Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning
· Support clients with meal preparation and feeding (if required)
· Perform light housekeeping related to client care
· Provide companionship and emotional support
· Follow and document care plans accurately
· Observe and report changes in client condition
· Maintain a safe and respectful environment at all times
Qualifications
· PSW certificate or equivalent caregiving experience
· Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain)
· Ability to travel to client homes
Assets (Nice to Have)
· Previous experience in home care or community care settings
· CPR / First Aid certification
· Experience working with seniors or individuals with complex care needs

· Experience providing personal care and support in a home care, healthcare, or community setting
· Ability to work independently and follow care plans with minimal supervision
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Reliable, professional, and respectful in client homes
Compensation
· Hourly pay (based on experience)
· Casual/on-call scheduling based on client demand
