Position Summary

Reporting to the Senior Director, the Coordinator provides administrative and project coordination support to staff in the Learning, Innovation and Research portfolio, which comprises:

Centre for Learning, Innovation & Simulation
Applied Educational Research Department
Strategic Partnerships & Procurement;
Centre for the Advancement of Simulation Education
Applied Research Initiatives, Research Institute for Health Care Education

Support the Senior Director, Directors, Managers and Staff within the Portfolio and Departments to achieve organizational, strategic and operational goals by:

Co-developing and tracking project plans and processes
Providing administrative support, such as scheduling, minute taking, room bookings, travel planning
Supporting Faculty and Curriculum development, research and evaluation initiatives
Collaborating on the analysis and optimization of processes
Stewarding data management and tracking systems
Supporting ongoing academic operations, such as research workshops, symposiums and teaching and learning events
Supporting financial and purchasing processes
Other duties as assigned
Position Qualifications

Relevant undergraduate degree or diploma
Project management experience
Process mapping knowledge and skill
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, CRM software and Metadata software
Above average keyboarding speed and accuracy
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work efficiently and effectively independently and in teams
Ability to interpret data/information for planning and reporting
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to adapt to changing priorities
