We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Chef to join our vibrant restaurant team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences
- Handle food preparation tasks including dough stretching, topping assembly, and ingredient portioning
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during meal preparation
- Ensure all food handling procedures meet health and safety standards
- Serve customers promptly with friendly and professional service
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management of stock needs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Knowledge of pizza making techniques, including dough handling, topping placement, and baking methods
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers
- Kitchen experience with familiarity using commercial kitchen equipment is preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks as needed
- Prior experience in meal preparation and food industry roles is advantageous but not mandatory for entry-level candidates willing to learn
Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
