Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our team. Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
- Conduct client assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and discuss goals and expectations.
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including treatment notes and progress reports.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients before, during, and after sessions.
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend follow-up treatments or referrals as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices.
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and clinic operations.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Massage Therapist.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to massage therapy and anatomy.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Excellent communication skills for effectively explaining treatment procedures and listening to client concerns.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
- Prior experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided as needed.
