Bartender
Swans Pub is seeking out applicants for our Bartender position for our lively downtown pub. This is a part time or full time position. Applicants should be available weekends and statutory holidays.
Responsibilities:
- To provide a high level of guest satisfaction by providing efficient and friendly service
- Ensure all drinks meet quality standards, following drink specifications and recipes
- Ensure cleanliness and good working order of the bar
- Maintain supply of all garnishes and supplies for efficient bar service
- To project a pleasant and positive image of our company to all guests
- Deliver and present food orders to guests in a timely manner
- To bus and re-set tables and bar seats
- Maintain knowledge of all menus (food, cocktail, beer, non alcohol) including specials
- To communicate effectively with supervisors and team members using appropriate etiquette
- To comply with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a bartending position industry is an asset.
- Sincere desire to exceed guest expectations
- A passion for the hospitality industry
- Ability to work well under pressure, high energy and self-motivation required.
- Ability to work without constant supervision
- Strong communication skills
- Enthusiastic and team oriented
- Personable and professional

Swans Pub is a fast paced, fun, social environment with a focus on the guest experience and teamwork.
