Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes.
Duties
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and developers to ensure project requirements are met and ensure the delivery of all material onsite.
- Prepare and review project schedules.
- Understand how to read bluepriunts and other constructrion documents
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Facilitate communication between team members to resolve issues promptly.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems and develop solutions quickly.
- Candidate must provide project updates.
- Candidate must provide project management and supervision of the construction (asphalt paving, concrete, landscaping- both hard and soft)
- Candidate must be able to obtain various quotes from sub contractors and award the work.
- Engineering/Construction degrees are an asset but not a requirement
- Minimum of 5+ years of active, relevant, and applicable experience in the industry.
- Candidate must be able to lead projects with little supervision from start to finish.
