Made in Canada Steel Buildings Inc. a are growing design and construction companies seeking a talented Part-Time Contract Architectural Designer/Drafter. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, hands-on experience producing construction document sets, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist to join our innovative design team. In this role, you will play a vital part in translating architectural concepts into precise technical drawings and models, supporting both residential and commercial construction projects. Your expertise will help streamline project workflows, ensure compliance with building codes, and facilitate effective communication between design teams, clients, and contractors. Duties
- 3+ years of architectural drafting/design experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Demonstrated experience producing full construction document sets
- Working knowledge of building codes
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines independently in a remote environment
- Architecture diploma or degree
- Experience with both wood and metal construction types
