Are you looking for a job opportunity with good pay at entry level? Are you looking for a career with professional level wage potential with options for on-the-job training?
Precision Heat Treat is looking for reliable, creative, and trustworthy people:
You must be reasonably physically fit (able to lift up to 50lbs) as the job requires lifting and moving metal parts.
Some level of experience with small tools, driving a forklift, or in a manufacturing environment would be an asset, but is not a requirement; we're hiring for initiative, and we will train for the skills you will require.
You would start with cleaning, packaging, shipping & receiving, and supporting the heat treaters throughout the workplace. As you become familiar with the processes, you will have opportunities to learn the processes, background, and decision making criteria that will allow you to move upwards.
Precision Heat Treat is a small, custom metal processing company in the industrial manufacturing sector. Heat treating metal parts in large furnaces alters the metal, transforming it to create more desirable characteristics. In manufacturing environments such as this, the safety of our workers is the first and most important goal, and every employee must participate in training as required and follow safe work procedures at all times. Precision is constantly developing and inventing new equipment and new systems to enable each of us to do our jobs better, faster, and more accurately.
Due to the nature of the business, PHT operates around the clock, and so all staff must be able to share the early morning, day, afternoon, and night shifts as they can be best worked out for everyone. This requires each employee to have access to reliable transportation, since transit does not provide adequate safe service at all hours.
