Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting warehouse distribution operations, handling heavy equipment, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, to load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Assist with order fulfillment including picking, packing, and preparing shipments for delivery
- Manage shipping & receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation through
- Load and unload materials using appropriate heavy equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper stock rotation and organization within the warehouse
- Support manufacturing or construction-related tasks as needed, including heavy lifting and assembly work
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse environment by following safety guidelines and procedures
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and improve workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, or order pickers
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance
- Experience working within warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or manufacturing environments
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout shifts
- Prior experience in order picking, packaging, load & unload activities preferred
- Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse procedures
- Construction or general labor experience is a plus but not required
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and order fulfillment processes
