As a Senior Financial Analyst on our Finance team, you will be expected to maintain and mature the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles of our business. As a true partner to the business, you will support day to day activities as well as work cross-collaboratively throughout the organization. This role reports to the VP, Finance.
In this role, your responsibilities would include:
Developing and maintaining financial models for medium and long-term planning.
Managing and enhancing the company’s annual budgeting process, including partnering with Controllership to ensure record keeping is consistent with the budget process.
Assessing, maintaining, and implementing forecasting software as needed.
Acting as a Finance stakeholder for the data analytics of the business, including KPI’s and data integrity, always looking to provide better insights.
Supporting with journal entries and journal entry assumption estimates, as required.
Preparing monthly variance analysis, KPI reports, and operating reviews to track business success.
Conducting ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, or scenario analyses.
Assisting cross-collaboratively with the business to manage revenue assumptions and expectations.

Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to translate financial insights into key takeaways.
Have knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial analysis.
Be proficient in financial software and tools, such as ERP systems, Budgeting Software, Microsoft Excel, and financial modeling.
Effectively juggle competing priorities and establish realistic deadlines for stakeholders.

Required Skills:
4+ years of relevant accounting, financial analysis, and/or strategic planning, including experience with multiple budget cycles
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) Designation, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Designation, or working towards it.
Experience working in a growth start-up, or rapidly changing environment is considered an asset.
Experience working in the capital markets or technology industry is also considered an asset.
