The hard parts, so nobody is surprised.
You'll use your own vehicle, minimum size a small SUV. That's a real ask, not everyone has the right vehicle or wants to put the mileage on it. You'll need a smartphone with an active data plan, since dispatch runs through it. It's a full day, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, every Sunday, so if you need Sundays off even occasionally, this isn't the fit. Some lifting, up to 50 lbs, loading and unloading orders.
The good parts, and they're real.
$28 an hour, flat. That's meant to cover your own gas and mileage, it isn't a separate reimbursement on top of it. If gas prices climb, there's a built-in bonus that kicks in automatically to help offset it, so a spike at the pump isn't something you're absorbing alone. Paid bi-weekly by direct deposit. It's just one day a week, so the rest of your week stays free for another job, school, or whatever else you've got going on. Our dispatch team is with you the whole shift, you're never figuring out a route on your own.
What the job actually is.
Pick up and load pre-packed meal orders at our NE Calgary kitchen. Deliver them across the city on a route we've already planned for you. Bring cooler bags and any undelivered orders back to the kitchen at the end.
What you'll need.
A valid driver's license with a clean abstract, and your own reliable vehicle with valid insurance. Legally able to work in Canada. Consistent Sunday availability, every week.
Who we're looking for.
If you've done courier work, warehouse delivery, truck driving, or any job where you were out on your own following a route or a schedule, that's exactly the background that does well here. We're after someone dependable and organized more than someone with a specific job title on their resume.

We're a Calgary meal prep company making fresh, balanced meals that make eating well easier. You'd be the last hands on an order before it reaches someone's door, so how you carry yourself on the route matters to us.
