Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cardiology Technologist to join our dynamic team at Cardio 1 Medical in Winnipeg. This is a part-time position, offering approximately 15-25 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Perform exercise stress testing (GXT) on clinic patients.
- Conduct ECGs, ABPs, and Holter Hook-ups to ensure accurate diagnostic results.
- Accurately document patient information and test results in our Accuro EMR system
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals, providing clear instructions and support throughout procedures.
- Maintain and troubleshoot cardiology equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Cardiology Technology program.
- Current certification by the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT).
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in performing Holters, ECGs, and Exercise Stress Tests.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated initiative and professionalism, maintaining patient privacy and safety at all times.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a busy clinical setting.
Salary is based on experience and qualifications. This position may be eligible to join our Group Benefits and RRSP/DPSP, depending on the weekly hours worked.
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 25.0 per week
