Reporting to the Director of Solutions, this role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the solutions lifecycle. This role is accountable for researching, reviewing, and making recommendations on any new corporate software applications or technology innovations from a perspective of design, integration, and technical fit with other systems. For existing applications, this role will oversee planning, designing, developing, implementing and deprecating of any in-house solutions. For software enhancements provided by an external vendor, the role will support the Business Analysts and Portfolio Managers in reviewing and discussing all technical solution designs to ensure they meet the needs of the business and in alignment with our corporate standard. This will require the role to produce and maintain documentation, and endorse CBI best practices and procedures when identifying, qualifying, validating and approving technologies for use within the enterprise. The role will own the management of the corporate Enterprise Integration Service Bus, and own the responsibility for vendor management.

Develop and maintain a solid understanding of the various vertical business lines and segments in the healthcare space under CBI.
Develop and maintain a solid enterprise solutions identification process.
Develop and manage project plans that encompass all the activities associated with the integration of technology solutions.
Clearly and efficiently, lead the team to gather system functional and non-functional requirements.
Research, evaluate, recommend, develop, and administer solutions development and integration with the enterprise service bus.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand the needs for the various software applications.
Work with any external software vendors for any designs on new features or feature enhancements.
Identify and manage integration project dependencies and critical path, plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools, track project milestones and deliverables, develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentation.
Manage stakeholder relationships w/ Business Operations, IT Operations and Security, during the implementation period
Effectively communicate integration project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion
Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve integration project goals
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the integration project team
Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contracted staff, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
Liaise with internal and external partners and stakeholders as needed.
Manage relationships with the portfolio managers, systems analysts, innovation team, change management, and technology teams.
Here’s what you’ll need to be successful
7+ years of solutions and architecture design experience leading technical/professional services teams, providing direction, setting clear objectives, and delivering customized software or infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Ability to handle fast paced, demanding clients and initiatives
Strong problem solving and exceptional decision-making ability
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proven time management skills- able to handle conflicting priorities and juggle multiple projects
University or college degree, or equivalent experience.
Previous experience with technology initiatives, including SDLC processes and documentation is highly recommended.
Some travel may be required; must be able to travel within Canada.
