We are expanding our Service Department and looking for a skilled Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join our family. If you excel at advanced electronics, electrical troubleshooting, and mastering modern vehicle tech, we want to invest in you and your career.
What You'll Do
· Diagnose complex vehicle issues: Diagnose and repair challenging electrical, drivability, and performance issues.
· Use top-tier tech: Utilize advanced scan tools, Ford diagnostic equipment, and manufacturer data to pinpoint faults.
· Program & calibrate: Conduct critical software updates, module programming, and precise system calibrations.
· Inspect & recommend: Evaluate engine, fuel, transmission, braking, and suspension systems to provide accurate repair paths.
· Ensure quality: Perform road tests to verify that every repair meets our high standards before the keys go back to the customer.
· Lift others up: Act as a leader in the shop by mentoring eager apprentice technicians.
· Keep it professional: Maintain clean repair documentation and champion a safe, collaborative work environment.
What We Are Looking For
· Certified expertise: Licensed Automotive Service Technician (a Red Seal certification is highly preferred).
· Diagnostic wizardry: Deep experience with electronic repairs, network communications, and hybrid/electric vehicle systems.
· Tech-savvy mindset: Proficient with computers and quick to learn new diagnostic technology platforms.
· Great driving habits: Valid NB driver’s licence, clean driving record, and readiness to provide an abstract and background check.
· Gear & grit: Your own tools, a strong independent work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced shop.
· Bonus points: Ford dealership experience is awesome, but definitely not required!
