Position Overview
The Carpenter will be responsible for completing high-quality carpentry work on residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Complete renovations, additions, and custom build projects
- Framing, finishing, siding, decks, windows, trimming, and general carpentry work
- Reading and following blueprints and project specifications
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently
- Assisting with material handling, site preparation, and project cleanup
- Ensuring all work meets building codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations
- Working alongside tradespeople, subcontractors, and site supervisors
- Maintaining clean and organized job sites
- Mentoring apprentices and junior team members when required
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years carpentry experience preferred
- Experience in renovations and additions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Own tools for day-to-day tasks
- Ability to work professionally with clients and team members
- Steel toe boots and proper PPE required
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 40 hours/week
- Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
