This is a part time opportunity, working Saturdays- 8:00 am- 7:00 pm (Required) or later. Paid overtime is required depending on business volume. As a perk, you receive organic food discounts on date of hire!

POSITION PURPOSE:

This role is to assist with the operation of the retail market with respect to merchandising and/or cashier duties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

  • Assist customers with questions and needs
  • Create retail displays and prepare the market area prior to the opening of the market
  • Help to dismantle retail displays and the market area after the market has closed.
  • Assist in price ticketing display product.
  • Operating a cash registers may be part of the job duties requested
  • Observe all Company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities in an ethical manner and in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Performs other job duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience Required:

  • Previous customer service and / or retail experience required.
  • Previous cash handling experience may be required
  • System implementation experience is preferred.

Required Knowledge:

  • Should be familiar with and enjoy working in a team environment and be flexible regarding tasks and scheduling.
  • Should be familiar with and enjoy working with the public.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Possess a high regard for safety.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment; ability to prioritize and plan work activities, using time efficiently.
