Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools is seeking a faith-filled, collaborative, and student-centered educational leader for the position of Principal at Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools beginning January 4, 2027 at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys School.
St. Marguerite Bourgeoys School is a vibrant Catholic school community serving students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 9 in Innisfail, Alberta. The Successful Candidate Will:
Demonstrate a strong commitment to Catholic education and the mission of Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools
Possess formal school-based leadership experience and a proven ability to lead within an educational setting
Foster a positive, inclusive, and faith-centered school culture
Lead instructional excellence and support student achievement and wellness
Fostering a collaborative environment between the parish and the town
Build strong relationships with students, staff, families, parish, and the broader community
Promote collaborative leadership and professional growth among staff
Model ethical leadership, effective communication, and sound decision-making
Support Division priorities through innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
Successful teaching and leadership experience
Practicing Catholic with a strong commitment to Catholic faith formation
Demonstrated ability to lead collaborative teams and build positive school culture
