Validus Fitness
Physiotherapist Role
We are looking for a Physiotherapist who wants to be an active part of the Validus Fitness team. Someone who is excited to grow their practice within an established fitness community to help bridge the gap between rehabilitation, performance, and long-term health.
Responsibilities
Core clinical and administrative responsibilities:
- Provide physiotherapy assessments and treatments to members and clients.
- Manage all physiotherapy billing, insurance claims, charting, and documentation.
- Collaborate with coaches to support members transitioning from physiotherapy into strength and conditioning programs.
- Collaborate with coaching staff on active treatment plans, including structured handoffs to strength and conditioning when clinically appropriate.
The following represent the kinds of specialty programming we envision, with scope to develop and grow over time:
- Run specialty classes and workshops focused on topics such as:
- Shoulder health and performance
- Hip mobility
- Ankle mobility and stability
- Injury prevention
- Recovery strategies
- Performance education
- Develop and lead an active aging fitness class that complements both the physiotherapy practice and gym services.
- Offer educational presentations and workshops that help members improve performance, prevent injuries, and better understand their bodies.
Community and team integration:
- Participate in regular gym classes alongside members to build relationships and become a genuine part of the Validus community.
- Work with sports teams by providing physiotherapy assessments, screenings, and injury prevention services as part of training packages offered through the gym.
- Work collaboratively with the head coach and wider team to ensure consistent communication, shared goals, and a cohesive member experience.
What Validus Fitness Provides
- A dedicated treatment room.
- Access to the gym floor and equipment for assessments and rehabilitation.
- Marketing support and promotion of physiotherapy services — including social media, email campaigns to the existing membership base, and outreach to local businesses and sports organizations.
- Outreach to local businesses, sports teams, and organizations to help generate new clients and referral opportunities.
- Access to an established membership base and coaching team.
- A formal service agreement clearly outlining shared responsibilities for space, equipment access, facility upkeep, and all other operational expectations — ensuring both parties have clarity and confidence in the arrangement.
Compensation
Compensation combines a fixed monthly facility fee with a revenue-sharing arrangement. The facility fee keeps your overhead modest and predictable, covering your dedicated treatment room and access to the gym. The revenue share reflects a genuine partnership: because Validus benefits as your practice grows, we are directly invested in marketing your services, generating referrals, and building your caseload alongside you. Full details of the structure will be discussed during the interview process.
Staff Benefits
- Complimentary physiotherapy treatment for full-time Validus administrative staff, provided on a mutually agreed basis and reflected within the overall compensation structure.
Additional Opportunities
- Participate in team assessments and athlete evaluations as part of sports performance packages.
