Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers, including inspections, brake adjustments, and tire replacements.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Repair or replace damaged components, such as suspension systems, couplers, and lights.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure trucks and trailers are in safe and working condition.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
- Coordinate with other mechanics and team members to complete tasks efficiently.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and brake systems.
- Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
