Our client, a leading manufacturer specializing in military and consumer pyrotechnic devices, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance/Quality Control department, supporting the company's commitment to continuous improvement and safety. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a passion for maintaining high-quality standards in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Job Title: Quality Technician
Location: Prescott, ON
Pay Range: $20-21
Shift: Full Time (Days); 8-hour shift; 7 am – 3:30 pm
What's the Job?
- Perform execution testing and inspections following all safety and quality standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives through lean manufacturing practices
- Ensure safety and environmental protocols are strictly followed
- Assist in maintaining a safe work environment and proper handling of chemicals
- Participate in team efforts to enhance product quality and operational efficiency
What's Needed?
- Ability to walk long distances (up to 1 km) and stand for extended periods (up to 2 hours)
- Willingness to be mask fit tested and work safely with chemicals
- Capability to shower before leaving the site due to chemical exposure
- Strong attention to safety procedures and PPE protocols
- Positive attitude and commitment to continuous learning and improvement
