We are a established golf cart dealership based in Edmonton, Alberta, serving recreational, commercial, and residential customers since 1997. Our team is passionate about delivering great products and expert service and we are looking for a skilled mechanic to join our growing team of 4 techs currently. We are looking for someone with 4+ years of Powersports experience, actively pursuing or completed a Red Seal.
Key Responsibilities
As a Golf Cart Mechanic/Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain both gas and electric golf carts. You will perform pre-delivery inspections on new inventory, service customer units, and support our rental department with fleet repairs. This is a hands-on, full-time permanent position reporting to the Lead Mechanic.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on gas and electric golf carts
- Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and quality checks on new and used inventory
- Service and maintain battery systems, chargers, and electric drivetrains
- Perform routine maintenance including brakes, steering, suspension, and drivetrain components
- Troubleshoot and repair small engines (gas-powered carts)
- Complete work orders accurately and maintain service records
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Collaborate with the Lead Mechanic and team to meet service timelines
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a mechanic or technician (golf cart, small engine, powersports, or automotive)
- Strong knowledge of small engine repair
- Experience with electrical and battery systems ( 36V/48V systems)
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and use diagnostic tools
- Valid driver’s licence
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the day
Compensation:
- Base Hourly based on experience
