Job Summary
Join our vibrant team as a Before/Lunch/After Care Provider, where you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children before and after their regular school hours.
Hours
We are looking to hire two candidates - one for 2 hours before school (7:00 - 9:00) and 1 hour at lunch (11:30-12:30). Another for 1 hour at lunch (11:30 - 12:30) and 2 hours after school (3:00-5:00). We are open to interview candidates who are interested in a combination of these hours.
Duties
- Supervise children during before and after school hours, ensuring their safety at all times
- Organize and facilitate engaging activities that promote social skills, creativity, and early learning concepts
- Maintain a clean, organized environment that is welcoming and conducive to positive interactions
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress, behavior, or any concerns
- Enforce safety protocols and school policies consistently to create a secure setting for all children
- Support children’s emotional well-being by fostering inclusive play and encouraging respectful behavior
Requirements
- Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and development stages
- Ability to engage children actively through creative activities and positive reinforcement
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with staff and families
- Reliable, responsible, and committed to creating a safe environment for children
- Prior experience in early childhood education or related fields is a plus but not mandatory

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
