Director of Accounts

Cynergy Mechanical is a leading mechanical services and solutions provider based in

Etobicoke, Ontario, proudly serving clients since 1994. The company specializes in HVAC,

refrigeration, plumbing, and integrated mechanical systems across industrial,

commercial, institutional, and multi-residential sectors.

With a strong focus on service excellence, Cynergy Mechanical delivers installation,

maintenance, emergency response, and ongoing mechanical support solutions designed

to optimize building performance, improve energy e9ciency, and protect long-term asset

value throughout the GTA and Southwestern Ontario.

The Director of Accounts is responsible for the overall performance and growth of our

client portfolio. This includes strategic account planning, revenue expansion, client

retention, and the development of a high-performing Account Management team.

This role serves as the bridge between client relationships and business growth, ensuring

that accounts are managed with discipline, insight, and long-term value creation.

The Director of Accounts will operate as both a strategist and enabler, setting direction

while empowering the account team to deliver consistent results. Success in this role is

measured by client satisfaction, revenue performance, and the strength of account

relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Account Strategy & Revenue Leadership

 Develop and execute account growth strategies aligned with organizational

revenue goals.

 Oversee portfolio performance, including retention metrics, pro@tability, and

expansion opportunities.

 Identify high-value accounts for strategic development and long-term

partnership growth.

 Provide forecasting, pipeline visibility, and performance reporting to

leadership.

 Collaborate with senior management to align account strategy with broader

business objectives.

Team Leadership & Development

 Lead, mentor, and develop Account Managers to maximize performance and

professional growth.

 Establish performance standards and KPIs that drive accountability and

results.

 Conduct regular coaching, feedback sessions, and performance evaluations.

 Build a high-performance culture focused on client-@rst thinking and

operational excellence.

 Support recruitment and onboarding of account talent as the team scales.

Client Relationship Stewardship

 Maintain executive-level relationships with strategic clients.

 Lead quarterly and annual business reviews to strengthen partnerships and

identify growth opportunities.

 Act as an escalation point for complex client issues and ensure timely

resolution.

 Ensure consistent communication standards and service excellence across all

accounts.

 Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client value and satisfaction.

Cross-Functional Alignment

 Partner with Operations, Estimating, and Project Teams to align client

expectations with delivery.

 Contribute insights to pricing strategy and service positioning.

 Ensure account commitments are operationally feasible and @nancially

sound.

 Improve collaboration between departments to enhance client outcomes.

 Identify process improvements that strengthen e9ciency and service quality.

Process Optimization & Performance Management

 Implement scalable systems for account tracking, performance reporting,

and CRM utilization.

 Re@ne account management processes to improve productivity and client

experience.

 Monitor account metrics and drive data-informed decision-making.

 Establish structured account planning frameworks.

 Continuously optimize workBows to support growth and operational

excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

 7+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development.

 3+ years in a leadership or team management role.

 Demonstrated success growing revenue within an existing client base.

 Strong @nancial and business acumen.

 Experience within mechanical, HVAC, construction, or building services industries

is preferred.

 Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

 Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on involvement when needed.
