Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Worker to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that all food preparation, cooking, and serving activities are carried out efficiently and safely. Duties
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
- Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and maintaining cooking stations
- Serve food to customers or staff in a timely and courteous manner
- Handle food products safely, adhering to proper food handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to meet health and safety regulations
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers, following food safety guidelines
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies as needed
- Follow all safety protocols during food preparation and service to prevent accidents or contamination
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration
- Basic knowledge of serving practices and customer service principles is advantageous
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
