About the Opportunity
Blüm Academy is seeking an exceptional Early Childhood Educator who is passionate about high-quality early learning and excited to grow into a leadership role.
This position is ideal for an experienced Educator who is ready to expand their impact beyond the classroom. As part of our Leadership Track, you will receive mentorship, coaching, and increasing opportunities to develop your leadership skills while continuing to provide outstanding educational experiences for our students. Over time, you will have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities in curriculum development, educator mentorship, and campus wide initiatives.

Qualifications
- Alberta Level 2 or 3 Early Childhood Educator Certification (required)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a licensed childcare setting
- Demonstrated initiative, professionalism, and a desire to grow into leadership
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification (AHS-approved provider)
- Valid Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search (completed within the last 8 weeks)

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and facilitate engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences
- Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
- Observe, document, and support each student's individual development
- Build respectful, professional relationships with families
- Maintain accurate attendance and student documentation
- Ensure attentive supervision while upholding Blüm's high standards of care
- Follow all licensing, health, safety, and operational requirements
- Participate in ongoing professional development and leadership coaching
- Support new Educators through collaboration and mentorship opportunities as your leadership responsibilities grow
- Contribute to curriculum development, classroom quality, and centre-wide initiatives
- Demonstrate initiative by identifying opportunities to improve systems, experiences, and team success

Pay: $18.00-$20.40 per hour
