PACCAR is seeking a General Manager in Canada who have responsibility for the PFSL Mississauga office. The General Manager develops goals monthly/quarterly/annually and executes the appropriate actions relating to business strategies, sales management, financial management, and staff/personnel management to achieve the objectives of the company.
Some of the duties of the General Manager will be but not limited to the following:
Responsible for the evaluation of assigned fleet accounts and major customers; review transactions, analyze financial statements and recommend appropriate financial structuring.
Develop and implement short and long term sales & marketing plans to develop and increase finance penetration in target markets and Used Truck Sales in specific territories.
Business plan management to include annual and long-term planning; capital budget process; reconciliation of actual vs. plan.
Financial Management includes oversight of the P&L, credit and collections; new business volume, and asset management.
Key leadership role in proactively understanding customer financing needs and developing recommendations for creative business/financial solutions to strengthen and expand PACCAR Financial account presence in the region.
Manages the collection activities to ensure that past due levels are controlled and loss exposure is minimized.
Assists in disposal of collateral for used equipment.
Ensures appropriate and effective use of legal counsel relative to bankruptcy and litigation activitie
Accountable for directing activities, developing, coaching, mentoring and motivating District Sales Managers in the assigned territory. Works with District Sales Managers to review sales activities, ensuring efforts for achieving territory goals and identifying areas for additional development.
Directs the development and maintenance of profitable and productive dealer relationships, ensuring that a high level of service is provided by PFSL.
Promotes profitable retail and wholesale financing business by overseeing the marketing, pricing, collection, and administrative activities in accordance with PACCAR Financial’s policies, procedures and objectives.
Sales Management including marketing, presentations, rate preparation; used truck sales; client relationships and goal setting on a monthly basis.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with Kenworth/Peterbilt Divisions and Dealers to support and promote the sale and finance of PACCAR products.
Provide reports to Area Operations Director and PACCAR Financial Senior Management as requested.
Staff management involves conducting regular staff meetings; semi-annual personnel evaluations; performance management; and employee development.
Monitors existing controls and ensures compliance with established policies and procedures. Ensures timely and accurate preparation, review and submission of routine and special management reports.

Strong PC skills to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Tableau).
Experience & Education
Bachelor’s degree required, preferred degrees; Business Management, Administration, Marketing, Finance or Accounting,
MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
Seven to ten years of progressively more responsible management experience in major areas of responsibility (marketing/sales, credit, collections and operations).
Strong commercial equipment financing background including lease financing desired.
Able to travel domestically and international (primarily to the Unites States)
