RESPONSABILITIES AND FUNCTIONS :
Coordinate inspection activities (regular parts and PPAP) upon receipt by prioritizing and creating/revising inspection sheets as required;
Support the reception inspectors on the technical level;
Maintain the “skip lot”, multi-reception, certification of the same supplier batch and certified parts programs;
Manage production takeovers and special inspections (sorting, 100%, other);
Support production by participating in daily meetings on the floor;
Act as an analyst of quality indicators in production (ex: FPY, Main faults per cell, etc.) and prepare indicators for CQP, CAPA type meetings;
Manage the calibration program including the acquisition of new instruments, the processing of out of tolerance instruments, the creation of calibration instructions, and the maintenance of the database as a technical expert;
Manage the quarantine zone inventories;
Support the non-compliance monitoring program as well as the treatment of non-conforming documents;
Participate in improvement projects;
Carry out all tasks relating to department operations.
DEC in mechanical engineering, combined with 5 years of experience related to the position in a manufacturing company or any other combination of studies and experience deemed relevant;
Ability to speak and write in both French and English (level 4/5);
Be autonomous, resourceful, dynamic and demonstrate an interest in the technical field;
Demonstrate leadership with the team he or she coordinates.
Ability to make rational and structured decisions;
Have a good sense of organization and communication.
Ability to use measurement instruments (CMM, optical comparator) will be considered an asset;
Ability to read machining, assembly and inspection drawings;
Ability to use the sampling system well.
